Let's talk

The Somatic Release Intensive

You don't need another way to understand this. You need a different kind of work.

Whatever it is you've been carrying - the thing you've traced, named, explained, and still can't seem to shake - you don't need to understand it for something to change.

Understanding was never what was going to touch it. The body has a different way in.

The Programme

A one-month container, held closely.

Seven sessions over four to five weeks. A combination of Emotional Release sessions - the deep, body-based work - and sessions that allow those releases to happen safely and to change you afterwards.

Between sessions, we stay in contact. You have live messaging support throughout, so what surfaces in your daily life doesn't have to wait until the next session to be met.

The pacing matters. The rhythm - foundation, release, integration - is what allows deeper layers to surface and be met, at their own pace.

What Happens in a Session

An Emotional Release session is very different from the approaches you may be used to.

We work with sensations, breath, symbols and visual elements, emotions, touch (with your permission), sound and silence - as a doorway to your subconscious, and to feelings and memories the mind alone cannot reach.

Come prepared for different.

The body simply follows its own lead. It frees itself from restraints and allows you to visit places you wouldn't go otherwise. Each session is singular - what emerges, how the body receives and works with it, depends on where you are and the capacity you've built to that point.

Questions

What if I do Session 1 and decide not to continue?

That's exactly what Session 1 is for. It's a full session - 75 minutes to meet, to sense whether the work fits, and to feel what it's like to be met this way. Subsequent sessions last 60 minutes. If you choose not to continue, you've had a session that stands on its own. There's no pressure to continue.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens, and the programme is designed to accommodate it. If something unexpected comes up mid-programme, we'll find a way through it together.

What if nothing happens during a release session?

Sometimes the body needs time to settle, feel safe and trust, before it does anything at all. That's information and there's real movement in it too. Each session is singular, and what emerges depends on where you are and what your system is ready for. The pacing of the programme is designed for this.

I'm already in therapy with someone else - can I do this?

Yes. Many clients do this work alongside their existing therapy. What we do here complements rather than replaces the work you're doing elsewhere. If it feels relevant, you may choose to mention it to your other practitioner, so they can support you through the process.

What if I'm not sure I'm ready?

Book Session 1. It's the clearest way to find out. Readiness isn't always something you know from the outside - sometimes it becomes clear only once you're in the room.
