Let's talk

About

Hello, I'm Karine.

I'm a Somatic practitioner and Psychotherapist.

For over two decades I've been working with people who've done the thinking. Who've read the books, traced the patterns, named the wounds. And who've arrived at the quiet realisation that knowing isn't the same as changing.

That's where my work begins - at the point where talking has taken you as far as it can. Where the next step isn't more understanding, but something deeper. Quieter. Felt.

Why this work

I've been doing this since before I had a name for it.

As a child, I'd go to the shops with my mum and see people sleeping rough on the way home. While other children walked past, I'd find myself wondering for hours - what their nights were like, who they'd been before, whether someone would feed them. The idea that there was always more to a person than the moment in front of you - patterns, stories, lives still unfolding underneath - sat with me long before I had the language for it.

Years later, after two decades of training and practice, the missing piece arrived through my own experience. When I started training in fully somatic modalities and participating in immersive programmes - stretched to the very edge of what I thought I could hold - I went deeper into myself than I'd thought possible. For months afterwards, my old life felt too small to fit back into. What followed was a slow awakening: a resilience I hadn't earned through reading, a capacity to stay with discomfort without running, courage to begin again, real joy in small things. I was living inside the full spectrum of emotions - not at one end or the other - and it was the most human I'd ever felt.

I'd already sensed my practice needed to evolve - to go faster, deeper, more holistically. I just hadn't found the missing piece yet. That experience gave it to me. And what followed was my own integration of it - the lived knowing that now shapes everything I do and bring to the work.

It's why I no longer believe insight alone is enough. And it's why the work I offer now starts with the body.
