The Loop
Seeing the loop hasn't stopped it. Neither has thinking about it.
You've talked about it. Understood the shape of it. Recognised where it comes from. And every time, you're still standing at the same edge of it, watching it play out again.
The way out of this cycle isn't through more of the same.
What It Is
Somatic work for people who are done going round.
The Loop is a way of working that starts where thinking has stopped being useful. Not a course. Not a package. An ongoing rhythm of somatic work, done together, that meets the pattern where it actually lives.
You don't need to have done somatic work before. You don't need to know what it is yet. You just need to be ready for the pattern to loosen - and open to trying something that doesn't run through the mind.
Because the loop you keep running isn't held in your thoughts. It's held in your body - in the sensations, reactions, and impulses that fire before your mind has caught up. That's where we work.
How We Work
The Loop is body-based Psychotherapy - which means the work goes deeper and moves faster than talking alone can.
In each session, we work with what you bring - the pattern, the situation, the reaction you can't seem to shake. But we don't stay in the story. We slow down enough for the body to join. The tightness in your chest when you think about it. The dropped feeling in your stomach. The particular quality of the shutdown. That's where the actual material lives, and that's where the pattern is held.
The work is somatic at its foundation - meeting what's held in the body directly, without forcing it, and without needing you to understand it first. We meet what's underneath at a pace that's tolerable. We build your capacity to be with what's there. And from that, everything else starts to shift.
This is faster and quieter than what you might be used to. You leave sessions differently than you came in - like something's actually moved.
"I've been amazed by how different I feel in such a short time"
MS, 36 · Marketing
|"I have been working with Karine for two months and have been amazed by how different I feel in such a short time.
I was exploring therapy as I was feeling low, anxious and numb as a first-time mum. I reached out to Karine (best decision I made!) and she immediately made me feel seen and validated. Her calm, gentle, caring demeanour created a safe space for me to feel comfortable opening up to her about my emotions and my past that I've long buried deep down.
Through our sessions she has given me the tools to be more aware of my body and feelings and how to better cope with my fear and anxiety; and has supported me through a number of challenging situations where I could have easily fallen back on my usual ways and end up feeling awful about myself; instead I've come out of them feeling empowered and more in control than ever.
I can't thank Karine enough for such a positive start to my healing journey. I feel very optimistic that with her continued support, I can work towards being whole, present and happy again."

Questions
What if I do Session 1 and decide not to continue?
↓That's exactly what Session 1 is for. It's a full session - 75 minutes to meet, to sense whether the work fits, and to feel what it's like to be met this way. Subsequent sessions last 60 minutes. If you choose not to continue, you've had a session that stands on its own. There's no pressure to continue.
How long do most clients stay in The Loop?
↓It varies, but most clients notice real shifts within the first block. After that, many move to a lighter rhythm - spacing sessions out as the work settles. This isn't a model that asks you to come every week indefinitely. The goal is for you to need less over time, not more.
Do I need to have done therapy before?
↓Not necessarily. What matters is that you've already started paying attention - whether that's through therapy, self-help, workshops, or just years of noticing the same patterns showing up. You don't need clinical experience. You need the kind of self-awareness that comes from having gone around enough times to know something needs to change.
How is this different from talk therapy?
↓We still talk. But we don't stop there. In most talk therapy, the conversation stays in the mind - understanding patterns, processing events, developing insight. Here, we include the body: the sensations, reactions, and impulses that sit beneath the story. That's often where the pattern is actually held - and including it is what allows things to shift in a way that thinking alone hasn't.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
↓Book Session 1. It's the clearest way to find out. Readiness isn't always something you know from the outside - sometimes it becomes clear only once you're in the room.
